自然冷却
EB501自然冷却方式是开关电源早期的传统冷却方式,这种方式主要是依靠大的金属散热器来进行直接的热传导式散热。EB501换热量Q=KA△t(K换热系数,A换热面积,△t温度差)。当整流器输出功率增大时,其功率元件的温度会上升,△t温度差也增加,所以当整流器A换热面积足够时,其散热是没有时间滞后,功率元件的温差小,其热应力与热冲击小。
但这种方式的主要缺点就是散热片体积和重量大。EB501变压器的绕制为尽可能降低温升,防止温度的上升影响其工作性能,所以其材料选择的裕量较大,变压器的体积和重量也大。整流器的材料成本高,维护更换不方便。由于其对环境的洁净度要求不高,目前对于小容量通信电源,在些小型通信网还有部分应用,如电力、石油、广电、水利、国安等。
