应用

伍德沃德 TG-13 和 TG-17 是机械液压降速器，用于控制蒸汽透平，适用于不需要同步（恒速）运行的应用。

TG-13 调速器在 1034 kPa （150 psi） 的内部油压下运行，TG-17 在 1379 kPa （200 psi） 的内部油压下运行。

任一调速器都设置为客户在订购时指定的速度范围。在某些应用中，高速调速器（4000 至 6000 rpm）可能需要热交换器（参见第 2 章“何时需要热交换器？两个调速器都能够在低于指定速度范围内进行控制，但会损失一些输出扭矩和性能。

由于热上升和组件磨损问题，调速器的运行速度不应大于指定范围。

调速器可配备铸铁外壳或压铸铝外壳。速度下降是稳定运行所必需的。下垂是出厂设置的，但内部可调。

The maximum surface temperature of the TG governor must be kept below the minimum ignition temperature of the surrounding explosive environment and under the permissible operating conditions of the hydraulic oil selection. It is the user's responsibility to maintain safe surface and fluid temperatures. If normal operating conditions cause the surface temperature of the TG to rise close to the ignition temperature or close to the recommended maximum hydraulic oil temperature, a heat exchanger must be installed. See the "Heat Exchanger Installation" and "When you Need a Heat Exchanger" sections for the location and dimensions of the heat exchanger connection ports.

Woodward TG-13 and TG-17 are mechanical hydraulic speed reducers used to control steam turbines for applications that do not require synchronous (constant speed) operation.

The TG-13 and TG-17 governors have a maximum terminal shaft travel of 40 degrees. The recommended travel from no-load to full-load position is 2/3 of the full speed.

The TG-13 governor operates at an internal oil pressure of 1034 kPa (150 psi) and the TG-17 operates at an internal oil pressure of 1379 kPa (200 psi).

Each governor is set to the speed range specified by the customer when ordering. In some applications, high speed governors (4000 to 6000 rpm) may require heat exchangers (see Chapter 2, "When Do I Need a Heat Exchanger? Both governors are capable of controlling below the specified speed range, but with some loss of output torque and performance.

Due to thermal rise and component wear problems, the speed of the governor should not be greater than the specified range.

The governor can be equipped with a cast iron housing or a die-cast aluminum housing. The speed ｄｒｏｐ is necessary for stable operation. The droop is factory set, but internally adjustable.
