Tricon是一种高容错的可编程和过程控制技术。其特点如下:

Tricon is a highly fault-tolerant programmable and process control technology. Its characteristics are as follows:

A. Provide a three-mode redundant structure (TMR) with three identical subcircuits, each performing an independent degree of control. There is also a dedicated hardware/software architecture for the input and output of the "table" capable of tolerating harsh industrial environments.

C. It can be installed in the field, and the group can be installed and repaired online in the field without interfering with the field wiring.

D. Supports up to 1 18 /O modules (analog and digital) and optional communication modules. Communication modules can be connected to Modbus hosts and slave devices, or to Foxboro and Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (DCS), other Tricons in peer-to-peer networks, and external hosts in TCP/IP networks.

E. Can support remote I/O modules up to 12 km from the mainframe.

F. Develop and debug control programs using programming software based on Windows NT systems.

G. Intelligent functions in the input and output modules reduce the workload of the main processor. Each I/O module has three microprocessors.
