Only one 140 CRP 31200 module can be configured on the local rack. This module has an interface to communicate with Ethernet remote I/0 devices on the network. With the 140 CRP 31200 module, the PLC can connect to the Ethernet network and perform deterministic I/0 exchange with the modules in the Ethernet remote I/0 sub-station. The 140 CRP 312 00 module is only used to manage remote I/0 devices. 140 Other services of the CRP 312 00 module are :· This module uses RSTP to enable all remote I /0 devices on the main loop and recover from communication interruptions within 50 milliseconds.

This module can configure IP parameters and configurations for I/0 modules on sub-stations of up to 31 remote I/0 devices.

This module provides a communication path (via interconnect) to allow distributed I/0 and control network traffic to participate in remote I/0 networks.

· This module supports hot spare function. When switching, the primary 140 CRP 312 00 module and the standby 140 CRP 312 00 module do not exchange their IP addresses.

External port

· SERVICE ports can be configured online or offline.

· In port mirroring mode, a SERVICE port operates like a read-only port. That is, the device cannot be accessed through the SERVICE port (ping, connection to Unity Pro, etc.).
