A protective trip block is provided for each circuit breaker involved in a fault trip. It offers a configurable pulse extension to ensure a sufficiently long trip pulse, as well as all the functions required to properly match the automatic reclosing function.
The trip function block also includes a configurable door lock function for evolutionary failure and circuit breaker locking. Tripping Matrix logic TMAGGIO Tripping Matrix logic TMAGGIO function is used to route tripping signals and other logic output signals to different output contacts on the IED.
The TMAGGIO output signal and physical output allow the user to adjust the signal to the physical trip output according to the specific application requirements. The Fixed Signal function (FXDSIGN) generates a number of preset (fixed) signals that can be used for IED configuration, to force unused inputs in other function blocks to a certain level/value, or to create certain logic. 12.
