MVI56-PDPMV1 is a Profibus DP V1 master station communication module. The module is used with the ControlLogix platform, which is manufactured by Rockwell Automation. It is a single slot module with an RS485 optical isolation Profibus interface that supports DP V1. It can connect up to 125 slave devices and is compatible with Profibus Repeaters.

It has LED status indicator and debug/configuration port. The module supports the complete master device specification according to IEC61158. Acyclic parameter data can be transmitted via Class 1 or Class 2 DP V1 services, allowing the processor to easily communicate with slave devices that support the Profibus DP V0/V1 protocol.
