The Ethernet /IP to PROFINET controller gateway allows you to connect two industrial automation giants through secure, high-speed communication. The gateway provides Ethernet/IP-based controllers with the ability to control up to 36 PROFINET RT devices such as field I/O, drivers, Hmis, and controllers.

The PLX82-EIP-PNC gateway is a stand-alone DIN rail mounting unit that offers two Ethernet ports for communication, remote configuration, and diagnostics. An onboard SD card slot (SD card optional) is used to store configuration files that can be used for recovery, transferring configuration to another gateway, or general configuration backup.
