The MVI56-EGD is the latest member of PROSOFT's family of compact automated weighing indicators with additional integrated filling and batching capabilities that increase the speed, accuracy and repeatability of production machines.

The self-optimizing algorithms of this purpose-built filling/dosing application provide tighter control, faster cutoff speeds, electronic filtration, and increased throughput for the food and beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

Incredibly fast

The amazingly fast MVI56-EGD operates as an "ISA S88 state machine," allowing machine builders and control system integrators to adopt decentralized control strategies by locally controlling filling and batching. Integrated control enables you to run processes faster than centralized systems, while reducing hardware and achieving tight fill tolerances. As a result, the PLC can perform other critical functions more efficiently, or the user can choose a lower cost PLC. The control state is monitored/controlled by physical I/O and one of the seven automation interfaces available, including EtherNet/IP.
