PROSOFT AN-X2-AB-DHRIO Before installing Windows 98SE, make sure the BIOS is set to assign interrupt USB controller. Also make sure "Installed O/S" is set to "Win98/Win2000".

Follow the instructions provided to begin installing Windows 98SEWindows 98SE Manual. In the Installation Options section of the Windows 98SE Installation Wizard, make sure to select Typical, and then click Next. Enter the user name and company name as required, then click Next. In the Windows Components section of the installation wizard, make sure Install selects Most Common Components, and then click Next. Continue installing until Windows 98SE is fully installed and rebooted for the last time. Note that the computer will restart several times during the Windows 98SE installation.

To enable/disable traditional USB support and/or assign an interrupt controller to USB, perform the appropriate operations outlined below: Press F2 to go to PhoenixBIOS Installation Utility immediately after the CPU is powered on or reset. Using the arrow keys, select the Advanced menu. Use the arrow keys to select the "Installed O/S" setting. Press the + or - key on the numeric keypad for use in "Other", "Win95" and "Win98/Win2000". Using the arrow keys, select the "Assign Interrupt for USB" setting. Press + or - on the numeric keypad used to toggle Settings between Enable and Disable. Using the arrow keys, select the "Traditional USB Support" setting. Press the + or - key on the numeric keypad to toggle Settings between Enable and Disable. Press F10, then enter to save the Settings and exit the BIOS.
