Pepperl+Fuchs introduces the VBA-2A-G10-E2L-1M-2V1-W component interface module. This module provides two outputs, enabling it to provide one output to two devices. Each output is powered entirely by an auxiliary black flat cable. This enables the G10 to deliver up to 2 A per output and up to 4 A per module. The output module can be used to turn on the indicator light, drive the electric actuator and control the drive and motor, and the ultra-compact size of the G10 series allows it to be fully sealed in the cable trough or the side rail of the conveyor. When used with standard flat cables, the G10 series has an IP68/IP69K rating, making it ideal for flush applications. The module can also be configured for wire breakage detection. When this feature is enabled, the PLC or control system signals when the output line is disconnected, enabling personnel to take quick corrective action to help maximize machine productivity. Many standard, modified, and customized G10 versions are available to support almost any AS interface application requirement.
