The F3-DIO-208-02 is a safety-related controller that is part of the F3 family. This controller has 20 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs and can be used to extend the I/O level. It is a compact metal housing system that can be connected to a separate HIMax or HIMatrix controller via safeethernet.

The F3-DIO-208-02 remote I/O can be used for various models in SILworX and ELOPlI factories, but cannot run any user programs alone. This controller is specifically designed for safety-related applications with high reliability and stability for a variety of industrial control and automation scenarios.

All equipment must be installed horizontally (refer to the front panel) to ensure adequate ventilation. Installation in a vertical position requires additional measures to ensure adequate ventilation. Please refer to the relevant handbooks for the sizes of the various devices. The minimum distance between the HIMatrix device and the devices of other manufacturers is also as follows for the cabinet wall: vertical minimum 100 mm, approximately horizontal. 20 mm(set by the F60 fastening strap). Mounting space (rack height) must also be considered in order to connect the input and output of the connector for communication (see Assembly Height, Chapter 3.2.3).
