The PMC676RCTX is a Gigabit Ethernet PMC that provides a single or dual 10/100/1000BaseTX Ethernet interface. The card is capable of full-duplex operations on each of its channels. The Ethernet /PCI/PCI-X interface includes a powerful DMA engine deep FIFO buffer (64K bytes) for each port. This ensures minimal PCI overhead for continuous, full-bandwidth operations. In addition, the card can accommodate edge PCI systems for rapid prototyping and development using the GE PMC239 adapter. Low cost, efficient interconnect two PMC676RCTX boards can be directly routed through simple "cross" wiring. This configuration creates a full-duplex 1000Mbit dedicated data path - providing high performance to provide bandwidth at a very low cost.
