The IS220PTURH1A is a primary trip pack for primary turbines and is part of the General Electric Speedtronic Mark VIe gas turbine control. This component connects the turbine control terminal board to one or two Ethernet networks via an electrical interface. The output of this packet is routed via a DC-62 pin connection to the terminal board. The IS220PTURH1A has a black housing with air circulation holes. There are various LED indicators on the front of the case, and an infrared receiver (infrared interface). The bundle does not use this port. A CPU board, a second board dedicated to turbine control, and an analog acquisition assist board are all housed in the case.
TTURH1C terminal board Used to mount packages. The processor board has two 10/100 Ethernet ports, flash memory, RAM, read-only chip for identification, internal temperature sensor, and reset circuit.
The IS220PTURH1A has the automatic reconfiguration function and can be automatically downloaded from the controller to the I/O package. Base loads, boot loaders, firmware, and Settings are all reconfigured. This happens only if automatic reconfiguration is enabled. The Component editor in the Toolbox ST program can enable or disable this feature.
The IS220PTURH1A has four passive magnetic speed inputs. The circuit sensitivity can detect a rotating gear speed of 2 RPM to see if the turbine has stopped spinning (the turbine has stopped). The median speed signals in this group are used for speed control as well as the primary overspeed travel signals.
