The IS200SRTDH2ACB controller does not use this type of application and does not have the capability to host any I/O applications. If this controller is used in a redundant set, all additional I/O networks will send input data to all additional controllers. The software and hardware on this controller have the capability to guarantee that a single point of application input will not be lost if the controller is shut down for maintenance or repair.

Controllers equipped with IONet can run many applications and firmware from the Mark VIe family, note that while IONet is used for different applications, it can only support Mark control I/O packages and controllers. When the controller uses the IONet interface, external data can be transferred to or from the system database.

Since the controller is similar to a UCSC controller, it can be used with the ControlST V07.01 software and can be used in TMR(three-mode redundancy) simplex and dual-redundancy applications. The controller also has features supported by three platform configurations, which are EFA, embedded PPNG, and Embedded EtherCAT configurations. The IS420UCSDH1A controller has six Ethernet ports, five of which are on the front panel and one of which is on the bottom, allowing Predix connectivity.
