Product description

GE Fanuc's IC698RMX016 is a 16MB redundant memory swap for the Rx7I Pacsystem. It has the following dimensions: 6.299 inches wide x 9.187 inches high. It has 16MB of SDRAM user memory. The power supply operates at +5 V DC. The current requirement is 1.8A. The device has an IEC 61754-20 compliant optical fiber LC connector and az zirconium ceramic core. The maximum insertion loss is 0.35 dB and return loss is -30dB. Acceptable temperatures range between -20°C and +85°C. The IC698RMX016 is initially powered in an unconfigured state where its light emitter is disabled. The redundant memory switch module does not run on the network until the RX7i CPU sends the hardware configuration to the module. For the purpose of reflecting memory operations, the user can choose to configure the following parameters: redundant transport mode, node ID, network memory offset, rogue host, and interrupt enable. Note that if the Redundant Link operation is selected, the above parameters are set by the CPU and therefore cannot be configured. Note that when the IC698RMX016 is used as a reflective memory module with general purpose, users can perform additional functions beyond basic read and write operations, including reading interrupt states, enabling interrupts, reading parity errors, and enabling parity logic.
