Part of the Mark VI series used in gas turbine control systems. The contact input/relay output board accepts 48 discrete inputs and manages 24 relay outputs from a total of four terminal boards through its accompanying subboards. The double-width VCCC module is installed in the VME I/O rack. Two sets of J3/J4 connections are provided in the rack for connection to TBCI and TRLY terminal boards.

Contact input

Contact input terminal board (TBCI) for the first 24 dry contact inputs; Input 25-48 requires a second terminal board. Contact provides DC power. The terminal board is connected to the VME rack containing the VCCC processor board by a cable with a molded plug. For inputs that monitor key turbine variables, high-speed scanning and recording at 1 millisecond per second can be performed. Event Sequence (SOE) recorders report contact flutter and pulse widths as low as 6 ms, as well as all contact openings and closures with a time resolution of 1 ms.

Relay output

Twelve plug-in magnetic relays are stored in the TRLYH1B. Jumpers can be used to set up the first 6 relay circuits for driving external solenoids or dry C-contact outputs. For field solenoid power supplies, standard 125 V DC or 115 V AC power and optional 24 V DC power are available with individual jumper selectable fuses and on-board suppression. The five subsequent relays (7-11) have unenergized independent C-contacts. Output 12 Uses isolated C-contacts for special applications such as ignition transformers.
