Product description

General Electric 531X207LCSACG1 is a local area network (LAN) current source board. This optional card is a member of the 531X series replacement board and optional board. Many GE branded drives and exciters can accept and use this LAN current source board. The card draws power from a fusion-protected 115 VAC input. When powered on, the board provides a rated power supply of 5 VDC or 15 VDC and a voltage limited 0.3A current source.

Once installed, the 531X207LCSACG1 provides a current source to the LAN board of its driver. Both 5 VDC and 15 VDC power can be supplied through the board, depending on the user's choice. The jumper on the board (JP1) allows the user to select the power supply, allowing 5 VDC at position 1.2 and 15 VDC at position 2.3. The onboard potentiometer (P1) allows the user to adjust the output voltage generated by these power supplies. The card also includes a protected fuse and a terminal board. The input to the board and the output sent by the board are transmitted through the 12-point terminal board.

Any mounting parameters provided should be met to protect the integrity of the board. Only qualified personnel who are trained and experienced in handling driver boards can install the 531X207LCSACG1.
