Product description

The 531X207LCSAEG1 is a local area network (LAN) current source board developed for General Electric's 531X series replacement board. As an alternative board, the card can be used in a range of GE branded drives and exciters. When installed in the driver, this current source board provides the driver's LAN with rated voltages of 5 VDC and 15 VDC, as well as A voltage limited current source of 0.3 A. All power to the card comes from the 115 VAC fuse protection input power supply.

The LAN operation of the drive depends on the proper operation of this motherboard. The 531X207LCSAEG1 includes a number of configurable options that allow users to apply this board to many tasks. The only jumper on the board labeled JP1 allows users to choose between a 5 VDC and a 15 VDC power supply. Position 1.2 allows 5 VDC power, while position 2.3 provides 15 VDC power. These generated output voltages can also be configured using an integrated potentiometer. The 12-point terminals connected to the card serve as interface points, sending and receiving voltage signals.
