Product description

The 531X207LCSAMG1 board was developed as a local area network (LAN) current source board. Manufacturer General Electric designed the card for the 531X replacement series driver board. Since it is a standard component of the drive cabinet, the card can be installed on multiple machines with GE branded drives and exciters. The current source board provides 5 VDC and 15 VDC rated power to the LAN board when installed. A fusion-protected 115 VAC input power supply provides the necessary power to the board.

The power required for the LAN communication board is provided by this card. A jumper (J1) on the board allows the user to choose between the two power supplies provided. If these levels are adjusted, the user must adjust the output accordingly. The potentiometer on the card allows output configuration. The 531X207LCSAMG1 also has a protected fuse and a 12-point terminal board. All signals sent to and from the card are secondary in the terminal board.

Before installing the board, check the necessary installation parameters. Meeting the provided parameters will help reduce the risk of damage to the board, driver or user. The 531X207LCSAMG1 board contains circuitry, so only trained users are allowed to install the card.
