Product description

General Electric developed the 531X309SPCAGG1 as a signal processor card. It belongs to the 531X series replacement board. Like most members of the family, the board can be installed into any number of GE manufactured drives and exciters. At run time, the board is used to process any I/O received by the LAN control board and the drive control board.

The 531X309SPCAGG1 contains many useful features that improve overall drive functionality. Encoders and tachometers are provided with interface media to the circuit board. The power speed feedback received from these external mechanisms is then sent to the control board for speed adjustment. The card converts three current reference signals and voltage level signals into voltage reference signals. These newly converted signals are then sent to the drive's control board. The input RS-422 serial signal is processed by the board and then sent to the system's motor control processor. Users can configure the board's hardware configuration, signal filters, and other options using onboard switches, jumpers, and potentiometers.

The installation parameters outlined by the motherboard manufacturer should be followed. Following all provided guidelines will maintain the integrity of the drive.
