Product description

Ge designed the 531X309SPCAHG1, a signal processor card for the 531X series. Because the 531X board is a replacement part, the card can be installed in many drives manufactured by GE. Once installed, the card will handle any I/O received by the LAN control board and drive control board.

The 531X309SPCAHG1 board contains many useful features that help improve driver function. Interface features with external encoders and tachometers are available when using this card. Once the card is received, the power speed feedback from the connected peripheral is sent to the control board. After installation, the card converts three current reference and voltage level signals into voltage reference signals. After conversion, these signals are sent to the device's integrated motor control processor. Other signals that the card can accept include the RS-422 serial signal. After receiving the serial signal, the serial signal is processed by the card and sent to the motor control processor. Configurability is an integral part of the overall board design. The card can change many options, including signal filters, bias, and gain. Other configurable options include onboard jumpers, switches and potentiometers.

Following all provided installation parameters is key to maintaining the integrity of the board. These will ensure that the 531X309SPCAHG1 signal processor card and its driver operate as expected.
