The DS200SLCCF1ADA board was developed by General Electric as a local area Network (LAN) communication card. The board is installed in the Mark V series drive board and exciter board. It can be installed in GE branded drive and excitation cabinets. The mounting card provides the necessary communication media for driver operation. As the G1 version of the board, the card includes the circuits needed for DLAN and ARCNET networks.

Both isolated and non-isolated circuits are provided by the DS200SLCCF1ADA communication card. Communication functions are filtered by a LAN control processor (LCP) integrated on the board. Two removable EPROM storage boxes provide LCP provider storage. The board also includes dual-port RAM. This memory space provides storage for communication between the LCP and the external wiring driver control board. The drive also includes a connectable alphanumeric keyboard.
