The GE excitation power board DS3800DEPB has one 20-pin ribbon cable and five 10-pin connectors. The GE LCI exciter control board DS3800DECA1B1B also houses four terminals for adding components and two trimmer resistors.

Some ids for 10-pin connectors are JA-RUN, CAL1B, and JB-COM. Since there are 10 out of 5 pin connectors, it is important to determine the correct ribbon cable to connect to each connector. If the motherboard is installed but the ribbon cable is not connected to the correct connector, you need to close the driver and plug the ribbon cable into the correct connector.
