The DS3800DFPF is part of General Electric's (GE) Mark IV Speedtronics family. The DS3800DFPF has 3,800 blue resistors. Each resistor has a different color on it to show how much energy can flow through each resistor. There are also seven light blue diodes and two light gray diodes. There are also two large silver diodes and two large black diodes. There are also two long ten-pin capacitors on the DS3800DFPF.

The DS3800DFPF also features two red rectangular capacitors. The board has eight receiving pins (gold) that are used to join the two boards together. These are numbered.
