The DS3800DFXB board assembly is a printed circuit board (PCB) for the General Electric Mark IV Speedtronic control system. The Mark IV is one of several Speedtronic control systems designed specifically for the management and protection of industrial gas and steam turbine systems. This is the first TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) Speedtronic system.

The Mark IV system offers several basic control options for the turbine systems it uses, including sequencing. It can start the turbine and adjust it to purge speed, ignite the fire, and safely put the unit into working operation. Once there, the MK IV system is able to synchronize the work of the turbine and provide continuous protection.

The DS3800DFXB board is used as an adjustment board. It maintains a constant fixed system output voltage regardless of transient or load changes. The DS3800DFXB has factory holes at each circuit board corner. A few components on the board surface are widely spaced, including resistor network arrays, capacitors, PTH (electroplated through holes), and EEPROM chips. The board also has a single connector along the edge of the front board. This has an extended ribbon connector. Refer to the manual for more information.
