Speed control: Speed control can be used on generator drives using proportional control, or on mechanical drive units using proportional plus integral control.

Temperature control: Temperature control is usually measured by exhaust temperature and compressor exhaust temperature change.

Protection: If the system exceeds certain key parameters, including temperature, speed, and vibration, the protection system triggers a fuel flow stop.
