Product description

Ge created the DS3800HLCA1E1E PCB to be integrated into its Speedtronic/Mark IV control system for gas and steam turbines. The Mark IV can be used for fuel and air emission control, starting turbine fuel sequencing, monitoring auxiliary and control functions, and warning of adverse operating conditions.

The DS3800HLCA1E1E works as an I/O control board in the Mark IV system. It is easily aligned by the alignment marks on its upper edge (the letters A through J plus the triangle marks). It goes through factory boreholes at every corner.

The DS3800HLCA1E1E has two toggle switches, one labeled "Test" with a maximum value of 0.4 (A4627P5 with three right Angle pins on the board) and the other labeled "Reset" with a maximum value of 0.4 (A4627PII with six right Angle pins into the board). There is a red LED test light and three adjustable jumper switches.

The DS3800HLCA1E1E is designed with programmable interfaces, EPROMs, DIPs and oscillators (more than 35 in total). It has three resistance networks and four potentiometers. There are twelve marked TP test points on the board.

The DS3800HLCA1E1E has an AMD female connector labeled 218A4553-1, located on a short edge of the board. Resistors on DS3800HLCA1E1E are usually ceramic metal films. Capacitors are small, spaced equally along and through the circuit board.
