The GE Universal memory board DS3800HUMA1B1C is designed for quick installation in a drive. The board has a modular connector at one end and a fixed rod at the other end. The GE universal memory board DS1HUMA3800B1C also has a reset toggle switch and a red indicator LED. The board is also equipped with multiple erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules and a jumper.

Four jumpers are associated with four A's and four C's. The quadrilateral is the logical division of the board. Each quadrilateral is associated with 4 modules. The board can support up to 16 modules.

If an error occurs, the red indicator LED lights up. Before using a test device, it is best practice to try to resolve the condition using the reset switch. The reset switch stops processing and signal sending and receiving on the board without turning off the power. If the error is caused by a signal sequence error, a restart may resolve the problem.
