The board is also equipped with multiple erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules and a jumper.

The function area of the GE universal memory board DS3800HUMB is divided into four divisions. These departments are called quadrangles. Quad A, Quad B, Quad C, and Quad D are partition ids.
