The GE memory expansion board DS3800HXPA1F1H is designed for quick installation in a drive. The board has a modular connector at one end and a fixed rod at the other end. The GE memory expansion board DS1HXPA3800F1H also has a 3-pin connector between the fixing rods. The board also houses multiple electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) modules and 40 amber indicator leds.

The GE memory expansion board DS3800HXPA1F1H provides additional memory for normal processing activities. Through control signals, the memory is accessed by microprocessors and other logic devices in the drive. Signals are transmitted through modular connectors. A modular connector is located on the board opposite the fixed rod. The driver is equipped with another modular connector at the end of the board frame. When installing a circuit board, a modular connector has been installed. Press the modular connectors together with your thumb. Fixed rod can be fixed connection.

Other signals are transmitted via a ribbon cable connected to a 40-pin connector between the fixed rods. A 40-pin connector accepts ribbon cable with set screws. To use additional set screws, press the ribbon cable connector into the connector on the motherboard. Use your hand or a screwdriver to secure the set screws.
