The DS3800NADA1F1F is a General Electric PCB designed to be used as an analog-to-digital converter card in the Speedtronic Mark IV system. The Mark IV for gas turbine and steam turbine control features an integrated chipset and intentional redundancy design that helps keep the system running even if one PCB experiences electronic problems. The Mark IV can be used to sequence turbine systems and their auxiliary equipment, and can create fully automatic start-up, shutdown, and cooling procedures.

The DS3800NADA1F1F design has 3 integrated circuits, including a U12 analog-to-digital converter chip. The chip offers three data output formats: a single parallel 8-bit word; Two 3800 bit bytes or serial data. Standard control inputs and fast bus access times ensure easy interface with microprocessors and digital signal processors. The DS1NADA1F<>F also has a built-in oscillator, a double-positive edge-triggered D flip-flop and an up/down binary counter.
