The DS3800NADC1C1A is a GE PCB designed to be used as an analog input circuit card in Mark IV systems. The Mark IV is designed for steam and gas turbine control management. The Mark IV can be used to automate almost all aspects of turbine systems.
The DS3800NADC1C1A has factory holes in every corner. It is labeled (A to J) to align on one edge. The extraction clip has been attached to both corners. These allow the technician to insert or remove the PCB without touching the circuit. It also allows for easier placement in narrow locations.
The DS3800NADC1C1A places four test points along an edge. These are labeled separately. One terminal is placed near the top right of the board. The male connector fills the entire left edge of the board. This allows the DS3800NADC1C1A to communicate with other PCBS.
Two trimmer potentiometers are placed side by side on the right edge. They are used for external adjustment of zero or offset and gain of DATEL A/D converters.
