GE's DS3800NECA1B1A is used in conjunction with the Mark IV system as an exciter voltage control board. Designed for gas or steam turbine management, the Mark IV automatically performs certain turbine control management functions, such as start-up and shutdown.

The DS3800NECA1B1A is built with the following components and specifications:

-12 leds (11 red, 1 amber)

- 1 toggle switch and 1 push button switch

- Spare plating through holes

-31 test sites

-11 integrated circuits, including GE H926AX339 optocoupler and LM<>J low power low offset voltage four-channel comparator

- A potentiometer

- Two transistors.

- Multiple connectors for communication with other PCBS, including two 218A4637-P2 (2) and -P3 (1) connectors. There are two vertical male pin connectors (218A4807P1). The board has two joints (a 4-pin and a 6-pin).
