The GE power exciter DS3800NEPB1F1E can only operate when installed in the power control module. The board must be connected to the motor exciter board. The DS3800NEPB1F1E board itself does not work. The subcard contains a phase-controlled trigger circuit, an exciting current regulator, and other circuits.
