The 531X126SNDABG1 is one of General Electric's buffer boards. The board is one of many replacement boards available in AX Control's inventory and was originally manufactured by General Electric as a replacement board for the company's various drives and exciters.

Buffers and buffer plates are designed to limit transient voltages within electrical systems. When there is a sudden interruption of current that could negatively affect nearby systems or cause damage to equipment, the buffer dissipates power and mitigates spikes before any damage occurs.
