The General Electric 531X111PSHAWG3 card was originally developed for use as a power supply and electrical field control board. The card was developed as a replacement board for the GE 531X replacement card family. Older drives in the GE series can install this card in the cabinet of the device. The installation card provides power to the host drive for proper operation. Developed as a G3 board version, the card f is used for MOV on AC lines that are not installed on the board. MOV is installed externally instead of on the board.

Once installed, the 531X111PSHAWG3 board provides three power supplies to the drive. Users can choose the desired voltage from 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. In addition, the card offers an integrated pulse transformer that powers the motor excitation circuit with an installed driver. The board also has many additional features. On board, the card includes three relay points. These relays allow the user to perform system control functions on the circuit board. The card also has three potentiometers and five jumpers. The potentiometer allows the current and circuit feedback to be adjusted, while the jumper allows the current and feedback signals to be calibrated.
