Product description

The 531X111PSHAWG2 card was manufactured by General Electric for use as an electric field control and power board. At the time of development, the card was created to replace the driver and exciter boards for the 531X series. Any drive in the GE series can install the card into its cabinet. The card is used to provide the power needed for the drive. As a G2 revision of the board, the card is specifically designed to be installed in an external driver.

Three power supplies are available with this power strip. The 531X111PSHAWG2 board is installed to supply the host drive with rated voltages of 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. The board also provides the driver with an integrated pulse transformer that powers the motor excitation circuit. The card also offers three relay points. These can be identified as positions K1 (run), K2 (Max), and K3 (fault). System control options are available for these relays. The circuit and current feedback can be adjusted and calibrated with three onboard potentiometers. Five jumpers also allow adjustment of current and feedback signals.
