The General Electric 531X111PSHASG2 is a motor field control and power supply board. It is designed for the 193X series replacement driver board. A range of drives and exciters in the GE family can accept the board in their cabinets. As an essential part of the drive system, the card provides the power needed for full operation of the drive. Since the card is a G2 version of the board, it was developed for use with an external driver.

The card is an integral part of the drive because it provides the system with the power it needs to operate. The 531X111PSHASG2 produces rated power supplies of 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. The card's integrated pulse transformer supplies power to the motor excitation circuit in the driver. There are three relays on this card. These include running (K1), maximum (K2), and failure (K3). Each relay offers different system control options. Three potentiometers are also integrated on the board. These are labeled P1 (field scale), P2 (CFB ZERO), and P3 (CFB ADJUST). All of this provides the user with the ability to calibrate or adjust the circuit or current feedback. The board comes with five configurable jumpers. These jumpers are used to allow the user to select and adjust the current and feedback signals.
