The 531X111PSHARG3 card is the motor field control and power supply board. It is manufactured by General Electric for its 531X replacement board family. Drivers and exciters developed by GE can be installed on this card. The power required for the drive is provided by this card. Electric field circuits can also be powered by this device. This is the G3 version of the board, which means that the MOV for the AC line is installed externally rather than on the board.

Drive operation depends on the 531X111PSHARG3 power supply board working properly. The card can produce three power supplies rated at 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. The integrated pulse transformer on the card supplies power to the motor excitation circuit in the driver. Device control is performed by three on-board relays.
