Product description

The General Electric 531X111PSHARG2 card is an electric field control and power board. At the time of development, the card was manufactured for the 531X series replacement board. Any number of drivers and exciters manufactured by GE can have the card installed in their cabinets. This power strip provides the power needed to run the drive. It also contains the appropriate equipment to power the electrical field circuit of the board. As a G2 revision of the board, the card was developed specifically for use with external exciters.

The 531X111PSHARG2 provides the necessary power to the drive for proper operation. Power supplies rated at 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC can be generated from the card. The field circuit on the driver is powered by the card's integrated pulse transformer. The card contains three relays: Run (K1), Max (K2), and Fault (K3) to provide system control options. Three potentiometers are also integrated on the board. P1 (field scale), P2 (CFB ZERO), and P3 (CFB ADJUST) all allow users to calibrate or adjust circuits or current feedback. Five configurable jumpers allow users to select and adjust feedback and current signals.

When installing the card, be sure to follow all provided installation parameters. Any guidelines provided by the manufacturer should be met to protect the integrity of the equipment.
