The 531X111PSHAAG2 board was developed by General Electric for use as an electric field control and power board. Because the card is located in the 531X series, it can be installed into many older models of drives under the GE brand. The power required for driver operation is provided by this card. Since it was developed as a G2 version, the board is best suited to be installed in an external driver.

The 531X111PSHAAG2 is capable of producing three different voltage power supplies for use by the driver. These power ratings include 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. The pulse transformer integrated on the circuit board also provides the power needed to power the motor excitation circuit in the host driver. You can use this card to perform system calibration and drive control options. System control options can be performed using one of three onboard relays. The relays are named on the card K1 for RUN, K2 for MAX, and K3 for fault. Five jumpers and three potentiometers are also built into the board. Jumpers are used for current and feedback signal adjustment, while potentiometers are used for circuit and current feedback calibration.
