The 269PLUS-DO-212-10C-120 is part of the 269 Plus motor Protection System family created by GE Multilin and is a motor protection system relay. The system is designed for three-phase motors. It provides protection against thermal and electrical damage to such motors. Specific events that the system can prevent include overheating of stator windings and bearings, multiple motor starts, undercurrent due to load loss, locking of rotors, fast tripping/mechanical clogging, unbalance/single phase, short circuit, and ground faults.

The system includes a number of key features, including an emergency start function, pre-trip alarm warning, 3 auxiliary relays, current and heat capacity metering, data logging, voltage and power metering, and various inputs and outputs. Inputs and outputs include 2 resistance thermal detectors (RTDS), 12 factory-programmed digital inputs, 4 output relays, and 1 programmable analog output. The system contains a 10 ohm copper RTD.
