The 269PLUS-DO-211-100N-120VAC is a motor protection system for the 269 Plus motor management relay series manufactured by GE Multilin. This microprocessor-based protection system is designed to work with three-phase motors as they operate close to their hardware limits.

The protection system monitors and controls the condition of the connected motor under acceleration and running/steady state conditions. The relay is a pull-out version of the protection system. Its phase and ground current transformer (CT) are 3:2 and 5:2, respectively. The system also features a 5 ohm nickel resistance thermal detector (RTD). This model has a control voltage of 100 VAC.

The motor protection system provides critical protection against thermal effects during operation. The system does this by using RTD monitoring. The system is then able to perform thermal modeling based on the relevant heat capacity. The protection system uses an exponential cooling time to match the cooling rate of the actual motor.
