With an optional Ethernet connection from GE Multilin's 469 series, the 469-P5-LO-A20-T is a motor management relay that can operate on a network using its Ethernet capabilities, rather than just RS242 or RS485 connections.
The twelve RTD inputs are three wires each: these wires are composed of 100 Ω platinum (DIN.43760), 100 Ω nickel, 120 Ω nickel, and 10 Ω copper. Resistance temperature detectors can monitor variables, such as the hottest temperature, to determine when and where problems occur in the system.
