Product description

This model of the GE Multiwire 369 Motor Protection Series comes with an optional metering function and 12 RTD inputs to protect and control medium-sized motors and supporting motor equipment. The 369-HI-R-M-0-0 uses technologies such as ground overcurrent protection and start suppression to protect the motor and extend system life. Users can use the metering function of the device to track quantities such as voltage, watt, power factor, frequency and energy. Users can then create build points to enable the protection features associated with these parameters, increasing the versatility of the system.

Relays operate according to highly configurable setpoints that guide the protection function of the system and generally establish the system function. The Multi-wire 369 High R-M 0-0 features a 369 motor setting autoconfigurator that makes the creation of setpoints easier than ever. Users can further modify these setpoints after automatic configuration to further specify and refine the Settings file. Settings can be created, edited, or deleted through the relay's 40-character LCD and keyboard, or modified more efficiently through the EnerVista 369 software program. Computers running EnerVista 369 can be connected to relays via RS232 ports, and the software program provides a better display of system metrics and an overall improved user interface.

The 369-HI-R-M-0-0 optional 12-resistance temperature detector (RTD) evaluates the actual temperature within the system. In this unit, the three wires of each RTD are composed of 100ω platinum, 100ω nickel, 120ω nickel, and 10ω copper. As the system temperature changes, the RTD produces a resistance value that can be reliably measured and converted to Fahrenheit.
