Function description
The DS200DMCBG1AKG is a power board manufactured and designed by General Electric. It is part of the EX2000 series for IGBT drive applications. The power supply board provides control level power to the driver by receiving 38 and 115 V AC (24 V DC) input power from the control power transformer (CPT) and 115 V AC power (NA) to the cabinet fan. The CPT provides 38 V AC voltage or about 10% to the DCFB board. (24 volts DC). For an unregulated 24 V DC output, this voltage is rectified and filtered by full wave. The output current ratings for +24 V and -24 V are 3 A and 1 A respectively.
The DCFB board's voltage regulator draws 15 V DC from a 24 V DC supply. Each 15 V DC output is capable of handling 0.8A, of which 0.25A can be used for external loads.
The DCFB board also uses A +24 V DC power supply to produce a +5 V DC, 4 A output. When the +5 V DC power supply is regulated, the /PSEN signal on the 2PL enters the TTL low state.
If the +5 V DC power supply is not adjusted, the signal will enter a high level state. When set to high power level, /PSEN causes the microprocessor of the drive control card to reset.
The armature current feedback circuit is powered by isolated +5 and 15 V DC supplies on the board.
The fuses, numbered FU2 and FU3, prevent short circuits in the power output (7A, 2AG). For these fuses, fuse blowout indications are provided by light emitting diodes (leds) CR51 and CR55. The fuse FU1 (1/2 A, 2AG) protects 115 V AC output.
