The DS200CPCAG1ABB is the VersaMax family of barrier I/O carriers manufactured by GE Fanuc. It consists of 36 palisade terminals and provides backplane communication and field wiring for an input/output module.

Prominent features include latch holes that anchor the module to the carrier and transparent hinged doors that provide cover for the terminal. Each input/output module comes with a printed line card label that can be folded and inserted into the hinged door.

Whenever additional bus connection points are required, a notch on the lower edge is used to connect the auxiliary input/output terminal block. The IC2CHS1 can be clipped into a 7.5mm x 35 mm DIN rail. To take care of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), it is important to ground the DIN rail. The guide rail has a conductive corrosion coating and is unpainted. If the application requires ground resistance to mechanical vibration, the IC2CHS1 is also mounted on the panel.
