The IS230TVBAH2A is a small circuit board component manufactured by GE for the Mark VI. MKVI is a gas and steam turbine management system, one of the last systems released by GE under the name Speedtronic. Mark VI is a complete integrated management system where hardware and software are designed together and work together to keep turbines at optimal levels. The Mark VI is available in both TMR (Triple modular Redundancy) and simplex forms.

IS230TVBAH2A is a thermocouple input terminal board. The board can accept thermocouple inputs of type E, J, K or T. The card can be used with a VTCC processor and has two barrier terminal strips on its front edge. These are labeled TB1 and TB2. Each terminal has <> thermocouple input.

During installation, the thermocouple is connected directly to the I/O terminals of the IS230TVBAH2A. The J-connectors on the motherboard (JRA/JRB, JSA/JSB, JTA/JTB) should be connected to the input/output processor located in the VME rack.

The IS230TVBAH2A screws are mounted on shielding rods in three positions. The frame wraps around the PCB on all four sides and extends from the front edge. The thermocouple input can be grounded or ungrounded. If the terminal needs maintenance, remove it from the circuit board surface.
