The Mark VI IS200 Turbo Emergency Trip model IS200TRPAH2AHE was designed by General Electric for use with the VPRO Turbo Emergency trip module. When the TREG model is used with the VPRO I/O processor board, it can also be used with two other terminal boards, namely the TPRO/ Turbo Protection and the TRPG/ main jump ram. The TREG model is designated as the positive terminal of the 125 VDC solenoid valve, while the TRPG model is the negative terminal. When used with a VPRO board, the IS200TRPAH2AHE model will control the 4 relays available on that model. Nine of these relays will form three groups of three to form the voting input and then control the three trip solenoid valves available on the VPRO processor. The second TREG board can be connected to the VPRO processor, which will drive from the VPRO board to the J<> connector.
Typically, the IS200TRPAH2AHE model can be used in simplex or triple modular redundancy (TMR) systems. When the TREG model is used in the TMR system, it will be fully controlled by the VPRO board via the trip solenoid and J2 power cord connection. When this model is used in simplex systems, an additional cable will be added to transmit the trip signal from the J1 connector to the relevant TSVO terminal board; The additional cable will provide the TSVO model with a servo valve clamp function on the turbine trip function.
Together, the TREG and TRPG models will control the trip solenoid valve on the VPRO model; When the two models work together, either of them is able to remove power and drive the hydraulic system within the Mark VI system to close the fuel or steam valve.
