The GE Fanuc Genius l-O IC660BBDO20 DC source I/o module is a solid-state electronics module whose primary role is to act as the connection and control interface between the AGFANUC Series 90-30 PLCS and field devices such as electromechanical sensors and actuators.
The GE Fanuc IC660BBDO20 DC source I/O module is capable of providing the power supply voltage required for the operation of the 16 Y/O circuits connected to its terminals, with 24 to 48 volts DC supply used to power the module itself. Each of the 16 separate /O circuits that can be controlled and monitored with this I/O module has a corresponding led indicator that will show the status of the load connected to the V/O port assigned to it. The end user can decide whether the I/O module is used as an input module, an output module, or a combination of input and output.
The GE Fanuc IC660BBDO20 DC source I/O module features a variety of out-of-the-box diagnostic functions. When the temperature exceeds 100 degrees Celsius, the overheating diagnostic function will shut down the I/O module.
The GE FanucIC660BBD020 DC source /O module also provides short circuit protection, which is used to shut down a faulty circuit within a few microseconds after a current level above 10 amps is detected at any port. Other diagnostic functions include fault switch detection, open circuit detection, overload and no-load detection. Connections from or to field devices connected to the /O block can be used by simply screwing in a correctly identified I/O port on the block.
